  • Communicate regularly and professionally with clients by email, telephone, virtual meeting and in person, with guidance from senior project staff where appropriate.
  • Assist with contract review and develop an understanding of contractual requirements, obligations and deliverables to support compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Identify, record, monitor, manage and negotiate commercial and technical risks, issues and opportunities, and assist with agreed mitigation and follow-up actions.
  • Identify potential variations to contract and support the preparation, negotiation, agreement, implementation and control of changes.
  • Apply professional and consistent project management best-practice processes, methods and tools in support of business and project objectives.
  • Establish and maintain accurate project records, controlled documentation, status reports, meeting notes, action logs and clear audit trails in accordance with project and company requirements.
  • Review supplier and project documentation for completeness, accuracy, status and compliance, coordinating responses and escalating approval requirements or concerns as necessary.
  • Support the timely issue, storage, retrieval and archiving of project documentation.
  • Prepare shipping, logistics and delivery information where required.
  • Participate with Sales colleagues in customer meetings and support the development of tenders and commercial proposals.
  • Regular travel to customer and supplier locations in the UK and worldwide as required.
  • Professionally represent Centrax Gas Turbine Division to clients, suppliers and all other external parties.

  • Experience of communicating with internal or external customers and the ability to work effectively with people from different countries and cultures.
  • Well organised and effective at prioritising tasks, maintaining accurate records and managing competing deadlines.
  • Good communication and developing negotiation skills, with the confidence to raise issues and seek support when required.
  • Able to bring people together, contribute positively across functions and increasingly influence others to achieve common project goals.
  • IT literate in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel, with working knowledge of or willingness to develop competence in Microsoft Project and other business systems.
